LUNA Farm & Sanctuary, is a private, self-funded, youth-operated, family-run rescue dedicated to saving and rehabilitating DOMESTIC animals of all shapes and sizes.

 

We specialize in horses, donkeys, cats, dogs and rabbits, but do take other species on a case-by-case basis, and are dedicated to the care, protection and promotion of these critters. From surrendered ponies to abandoned barn cats, every animal here is given a second chance and a loving home.

 

Our services include rescuing, training and retraining, rehoming, selling, and leasing select species, while educating the public, and selling products.

 

Because we are self-funded and operate on a small, limited facility, we are a for-profit business, and all our proceeds are reinvested directly back into LUNA. We work closely with each and every animal to ensure they receive the care and attention they need to thrive. Each animal is carefully assessed to ensure they are placed in their perfect home that meets their individual and unique needs. There is a very special list of requirements that every furry participant needs to meet before they go to a new home. Our program is known for rehabbing livestock who have experienced trauma or neglect and helping them build trust and confidence. In order to do this at the best of our capabilities, we only have a few at a time.

 

We offer pony rides, hands-on lessons, and beginner-friendly horsemanship experiences, all guided by gentle, well-cared-for animals. Whether you’re looking to learn, support rescue work, or simply spend time with animals in a peaceful, natural setting, we are a safe haven for people and pets alike.
