At LUNA Farm & Sanctuary we are committed to providing you with all your animal needs! With our convenient Atlanta in-town location, there is easy access from Kennesaw, Dallas, East Cobb, Sandy Springs, Smyrna, Powder Springs, Woodstock and West Cobb. We believe that everyone should be able to enjoy the unconditional love of an animal.

In addition to our barn, we have an outdoor arena with lighting, an indoor arena also with lighting, a tack room, outdoor wash rack and plenty of separate paddocks for geldings and mares. We strive to keep high standards and provide excellent care to all of our clients and animals. Our horses are fed twice a day, have clean stalls, daily turnout, and have 24 hour security systems.

WHAT WE OFFER

Pony Sessions

During our pony sessions, not only will your child learn to ride a horse, they will learn how to care for them, valuable life lessons, learn safety skills, and even may make new friends. Along with this they will make lasting memories of the great experiences they had with horses.

We only do one private pony session every day for the welfare of the horses. Time slots (in the summer) are 10 AM, 11 AM, 5PM and 6PM. If one of those times doesn't work for you, contact us! We are always willing to work with you.

Have your kid bring:

- Optional: Snack

- Water

- Jeans

- Shoes with a closed toe, preferably boots with a heel

Helmets are provided

Pony Sessions are 30mins to 1hr long

Beginner Riding Lessons

LUNA lessons are taught by Selma. Lessons are designed for each student's level of experience. Students will learn how to groom and tack up a horse and will begin to learn basic ridng skills. Most of the lesson is taught out of the saddle! As of this time, we only teach beginner lessons, but there is a trainer at our barn who teaches the higher levels. All ages welcome!

$20 per person

There is a weight limit of 150 pounds at this time.

Babysitting

Selma (age 16), offers both in house and drop off babysitting services.

Kids will get to enjoy gentle hands-on-time with our friendly animals.

Ages 1-12

$10 an hour

Horse Grooming Sessions

Feeling stressed or just need some quiet time with a gentle giant? Come spend a relaxing session grooming one of our sweet horses. You'll get hands-on time brushing, bonding and feeding treats to one of our rescues.
